Rapper & actor O’ Shea Jackson – better known as Ice Cube – has confirmed he’s lending his voice to Treyarch’s Call of Duty: Black Ops.
“Check me out in ‘Call of Duty: Black Ops,’” he wrote on Twitter. “I’m Corporal Bowman.”
This isn’t the fist time a fellow rapper-turned-actor has make the transition to a major videogame release, either – Ice T’s set to appear in Epic Games’ Gears of War 3 in 2011.
Call of Duty: Black Ops boasts a stellar voice cast by all accounts, including the likes of Gary Oldman and Ed Harris. The hotly anticipated Cold War-era shooter is due for release worldwide on November 9.
