We’ve been hearing rumors about a sequel to inFamous for quite a while. Well, those rumors were accurate as Sony announced today that inFamous 2 is heading exclusively to the PlayStation 3.
July’s issue of Game Informer will feature a cover story on Sucker Punch’s upcoming electric sequel. Cole MacGrath will return as the hero of sorts, but this time he’ll get his business done in a new city, with new powers, and new gameplay.
We will certainly hear a lot more about inFamous 2 at E3, which is days away. With so many pre-E3 announcements, Sony must have a crazy schedule planned to keep gamers attention focused on its systems and software.
