Infinity Ward has moved to quell fears that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 will suffer from the same lack of post-launch support that plagued its predecessor.
Creative strategist Robert Bowling took to Twitter to pledge that the studio will ensure the military shooter will receive top support thanks to a continuous stream of patches.
"That is a major focus of mine and the entire team since the feedback from Modern Warfare 2," said Bowling.
Released in 2009, Modern Warfare 2 was troubled by numerous hiccups, including Trophy errors, botched party invitations not to mention various online exploits. A meaty patch was finally released in February 2011 to remedy the problems.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is due out on November 8, 2011.
