Guillermo Del Toro’s inSane has not been shelved though it remains unknown whether or not THQ is still to publish the sandbox title.
The publisher revealed this week that it had been forced to reshuffle its line-up for the next financial year, which included delaying South Park: The Game and completely dropping Devil’s Third.
This put into question the status of inSane, which had been tipped for a 2013 release despite the fact we know next to nothing about the game.
Fortunately, THQ’s Danny Bilson confirmed via Twitter that the project is still in the works, though wouldn’t clarify if the company would still be publishing the game.
THQ previously described the game as offering “an unprecedented cinematic experience while redefining storytelling in gaming.”
