Namco Bandai’s super-glued a revised release date to Inversion, confirming the game will launch in the U.S. on June 5 and in Europe on June 8.
The Saber Interactive-developed shooter has suffered numerous delays in recent months, and prior to this latest development was pegged for a March 2012 launch.
Why has it been pushed back a third time you ask? According to Namco, it’s to allow Saber more time to cobble together ‘an enjoyable and engaging third-person shooter experience with a comprehensive multiplayer component.’
Inversion is due out on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, with players able to wield gravity-manipulating powers and features fully destructible environments.
