Iron Man Game Hits ‘Major Internal Milestone’ Confirms Motive Studio Boss

The GM of Motive Studio has confirmed that its highly anticipated Iron Man game has hit a ‘major internal milestone’ this year following news that the team will also be helping out EA’s wider Battlefield studios.

While Motive will now be helping out on Battlefield, Patrick Klaus stressed that Iron Man remains ‘an important priority’ for the team.

In parallel, development continues to move forward on our Iron Man project, led by Olivier Proulx (Executive Producer) and Ian Frazier (Creative Director). The team made excellent progress this year, hitting a major internal milestone and laying a robust foundation for the journey ahead. Iron Man is an important priority for Motive, and I’m very proud of the work we’ve accomplished so far.

The last time EA issued an update on Iron Man back in October last year, at which point the studio confirmed the game was in early pre-production and would be built on Unreal Engine 5. While the game is obviously still a ways off, the fact it has now hit an important milestone is encouraging to hear.

Iron Man is currently in development for PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S and is without a release date.
