Final Fantasy 7 The First Soldier PS4, PS5 – Is It Happening?
Square Enix has not announced Final Fantasy 7 The First Soldier for any other formats other than iOS and Android, similar to the case with Final Fantasy 7 Ever Crisis. Right now, there appears to be no plans to bring it to PS4 and/or PS5. We’ll let you know if this changes.
What Is Final Fantasy 7 The First Soldier?
Final Fantasy 7 The First Soldier takes place 30 years before the events of Final Fantasy 7 storyline, and is set in Midgar as the Shinra Electric Company goes about creating the first SOLDIER program. This is the same force that Cloud mentions in FF7, and are basically an army of enhanced soldiers employed by Shinra to carry out various missions across the planet.
Unlike previous Final Fantasy games, this one is a battle royale title that sees players fighting their way to the top of Shinra’s ranks. Your Soldier will possess a variety of skills in combat and will go up against competing players to showcase their dominance on the battlefield.
