Is Loop Hero Coming To PS4, PS5?
Loop Hero PS4, PS5 – Is It Happening?
Right now there’s no official confirmation from publisher Devolver Digital about a Loop Hero PS4/PS5 release, but it’s definitely possible. The company has obviously distributed many games for Sony consoles in the past, so it’s not out of the question.
We’ll be sure to let you know if there’s any news about Loop Hero coming to consoles.
What Is Loop Hero?
Loop Hero features a retro aesthetic and takes place in a randomly generated world where players are able to change their surroundings by placing cards rather than controlling a protagonist directly. The game takes place after the apocalypse at the hands of an evil Lich that obliterated reality and its occupants. Loop Hero’s central character wakes up in a small camp and sets out to try and rebuild the world around them.
The game’s hero follows a predetermined path, vanquishing enemies along the way. As you accumulate kills, you receive landscape cards, which are then used to place various terrain on your character’s path, including mountains, meadows, forests and other features. Each one contains different effects, such as healing properties, speed buffs, or enemy spawns.
