Is Megabonk Coming To PS5? Developed by Vedinad, Megabonk is the latest roguelike action romp causing quite a stir on PC, having recently launched on September 18, 2025. The game’s use of chaotic battles set across randomly generated maps has resulted in Megabonk drumming up a lot of players since launch, and given its popularity, there has inevitably been a lot of interesting a possible PS5 release. Is Megabonk Coming To PS5?
Ved, the one-man developer behind Megabonk, has not confirmed a PS5 version of the game at present. However, speaking on the game’s Discord (via GamePressure), they were asked about a possible port to other formats, to which they responded “Maybe? I think porting it can be a bit time consuming though, I also don’t know anything about it.” So, nothing is ruled out, but clearly Ved is not committing to a PS5 version at this time.
What Is Megabonk?
Megabonk is a roguelike survival game where you must fight your way through hordes of enemies and bosses in randomly generated maps. Grab loot on the way, level up your character, upgrade your weapons and survive for as long as you can! How far can you make it? Defeat enemies and pick up XP to level up! The more enemies you defeat, the more XP you get. Each upgrade offer is random and will vary in rarity, which makes each run unique!
