In a statement from EA, the publisher said:

We’ve heard from so many of you that you would like to support the victims, and to show that this horrific event will not define us, but only serve to make our community stronger. We’re already working with many of you to help make this happen through the livestream.

Families of Taylor Robertson, Elijah Clayton, who died at the event, and others who were affected, will also receive contributions.

On Sunday, during a Madden NFL 19 Tournament in Jacksonville, Florida, David Katz of Baltimore opened fire on fellow competitors. Two players died and 10 were injured. The shooter killed himself at the scene.
