The PlayStation 3 version of Capcom’s Lost Planet 2 has shifted just south of 85,000 units in seven days, catapulting the game to number one in the region’s software chart.
Elsewhere, World Soccer Winning Eleven 2010: Challenge of the Blue Samurai for PS3 also performed strongly, with the footie outing coming in at second place. A PSP version also managed sixth place, while Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker continued to pull in the punters in fourth.
Lost Planet 2’s success also facilitated PS3 sales in the territory, with Sony’s platform shifting 19,075 units during the same period, topping the Wii in the process. PSP, meanwhile, moved 22,462 units, putting it firmly in the lead.
