The latest Japanese hardware data has confirmed that sales of Sony’s PlayStation Vita have again slipped below those of its predecessor, the PlayStation Portable.
Despite receiving a much-needed boost in the past few weeks thanks to the release of games such as Persona 4: The Golden, Sony’s new handheld has suffered a slight decline in weekly sales as the wave of killer software begins to recede.
PS Vita moved just under 12k, while PSP put in a solid performance despite being nearly eight years old, moving just over 13k units. As per usual, 3DS took the number one spot followed by PlayStation 3.
