The PlayStation Portable has outsold Nintendo’s DS in Japan for the second week running, as sales of the portable gaming system continue to climb on a weekly basis.
The PSP sold 75,912 units for the week ended February 10, beating out the DS for a second week, which sold 60,464 in the same period.
Elsewhere, hardware sales for remaining consoles declined from the previous week, with the PlayStation 3 selling 23,985 units, down from almost 42,000 the week before.
Despite this, the next-generation console continued to outsell its main rival, the Xbox 360, by a pretty substantial margin, as did the PlayStation 2, which totalled just over 11,000 units.
