Japan: Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City rules the roost

Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City has shambled into first place on the Japanese software charts, according to the latest Media Create data (via VG247).

The PlayStation 3 version of the Slant Six-developed shooter debuted with an impressive 252,525 units for the week ended April 29. By comparison, the Xbox 360 version flogged 16,285 units in the same period.

Elsewhere, PlayStation Vita finally got a look in with the release of Surge Concerto Ciel nosurge, which entered at number four with just over 33k sold.
