Speaking at San Diego Comic-Con over the weekend, Robbie Barsamian, Vice President of Horror Inc., has confirmed that a new Friday the 13th movie sequel and video game are in the pipeline.
I can tell you that a new sequel movie and new sequel game are at the top of our list.It’s where most of our energy’s going right now. And I can tell you finally we’re in a position to deliver on that. While we’re not officially announcing with our partners today, both are coming. They’re both in the works and they’re both coming.

Friday the 13th: The Video Game was released in May 2017 for PS4, PC, and Xbox One, although publisher Gun Media announced back in summer 2023 that the game was to be pulled from digital storefronts on December 31, 2023. The game remained playable for existing owners for another year before it was fully discontinued.
Based on the hugely popular horror film franchise of the same name, Friday the 13th takes place in a semi-open world during the 1980s, where players must survive against masked killer Jason Voorhees. One player takes on the role of Jason, while everyone else (up to seven players in total) control Crystal Lake counselors.
