SEGA’s confirmed that it will release a PlayStation Vita version of the Dreamcast graffiti-‘em-up Jet Set Radio in summer 2012.
Previously confirmed for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 via digital download, Jet Set Radio will arrive on PS Vita with all-new features and controls.
Gamers will be able to use the handheld’s touchscreen to spray graffiti all over the shop, plus SEGA’s also confirmed it’ll include camera integration too.
SEGA’s Senior Vice President of Digital Business, Haruki Satomi, commented: “The fan reaction to the recent reveal of Jet Set Radio has been incredible!”
“As Jet Set Radio is focused on creativity, the touch capabilities of the PlayStation VITA are proving to be a perfect fit.”
Jet Set Radio for PS Vita will be playable at E3 early next month, so with any luck PSU.com will get some hands-on time with the game while we’re there. Stay tuned.
