VGC’s Jordan Middler has teased that we’ll get a glimpse at the new Twisted Metal game soon, although stopped short of revealing any details on the project.
Middler was posting a question to listeners of the VGC podcast about what PlayStation franchise they’d like to see make a comeback after more than a decade. MotorStorm was one of the games suggested, while another posted up an image of Twisted Metal.
In response to the latter, Middle replied, “You won’t be waiting long for that ;),” which suggests we’ll be getting a formal reveal soon.

Firesprite Studios is heavily rumoured to be working on a revival of the Twisted Metal franchise after reportedly picking up the rights to the franchise in early 2022. Last February, it was reported that the game may feature VR support and will launch day-and-date for PC and PlayStation.
