Electronic Entertainment Expo [E3] 2014 News

Killzone dev’s new IP due fall 2015, full reveal coming next E3 — rumor

According to industry insider ‘Shinobi602,’ the new IP currently in development at Guerrilla Games is scheduled for release in fall 2015.

Writing on Twitter, the tipster also poured cold water over any hopes of a full reveal at next month’s E3 expo in Los Angeles.

“It’s *planned* as something’s ready, but things change last minute. Should expect a full reveal E3 2015 with a Fall ‘target’ release,” he said.

If that wasn’t enough to whet your appetite, he also divulged a few juicy tidbits on the hotly anticipated project.

“Sounds unique, has some lush environments, robot dinos, other weird exotic creatures. Red headed female protagonist,” Shinobi teased.

Guerrilla Games has been beavering away on its new IP for over two years now, and will be its second project for PS4 after launch effort, Killzone: Shadow Fall. If rumors are to be believed, the new game may be free-to-play and feature microtransactions.

Naturally, we advise you all to take these reports with a pinch of salt, as nothing official has been announced as of yet.
