Killzone Shadow Fall Intercept DLC now available as standalone game

The Killzone: Shadow Fall Intercept DLC that was available to download for owners of the PS4 exclusive shooter back in June is now accessible as a standalone title on the PlayStation Store.

The four-player cooperative game mode is priced at £15.99 ($19.99) and sees players choosing one of four classes (Assault, Marksman, Media or Tactician) to team up against waves of Helghast enemies across four arena maps as they seek to intercept military transmissions.

Just like the members of Intelligence Squad Alpha, the AI-controlled Helghast enemies in Killzone Shadow Fall Intercept have their own sets of goals and Combat Roles. They will switch up tactics and angles of attack when they capture an Uplink, so you’ll need to adapt your defence strategy accordingly. On top of that, the enemy can call on special Helghast champions with unique abilities, based on key Killzone Shadow Fall characters. Expect to go up against some very familiar faces…
