Neocore Games has announced that turn-based strategy RPG King Arthur: Knight’s Tale is coming to PS5 and Xbox Series X/S on February 22, 2024.
The game was originally released for the PC in April 2022 following an Early Access period that launched back in January 2021. The PS5 and Xbox Series X/S versions will allow users to choose between Performance and Quality modes to prioritise frame rate and 4K resolution, respectively, and challenge other players in local multiplayer.
The PS5 version of King Arthur: Knight’s Tale will offer haptic feedback using the DualSense controller, and there will of course be Achievements and Trophies for Xbox Series X/S and PS5, respectively.
King Arthur: Knight’s Tale is a modern retelling of the classic Arthurian mythology, combining traditional character-focussed RPG mechanics with the classic turn-based tactical trappings. Players follow King Arthur’s nemesis, Sir Mordred, who is resurrected by the Lady of the Lake after being struck down by Arthur, who sends you on a quest to eliminate the King, now an undying mad monarch.
King Arthur: Knight’s Tale is due out on February 22, 2024 for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.
