Following this week’s PlayStation Store update, the King of Fighters 14 demo and a free dynamic theme are now available to download.
Play local multiplayer or against the CPU with seven King of Fighters 14 characters, including Mai, Kyo, Iori, Sylvie, Paula, King of Dinosaurs, Sun’ei, and Nelson. The final roster will feature over 50 characters, split into 16 teams of three characters.
King of Fighters 14 characters bring new moves
For this latest iteration, developer SNK has ditched the Hyper Drive system from the last game, and replaced it with an upgraded version of Max Mode, where players can perform unlimited EX special moves for a limited time.
Each character will also have three supers, including the brand new Climax Super Special Moves, which will require a total of three power gauges to execute.
King of Fighters 14 release date
King of Fighters 14 will launch on August 23, and there’s a special steelbook case for those who preorder.
