Use this handy guide and walkthrough to complete objective 29: Gem Gatherer in Kingdom Hearts 0.2
Objective 29, Gem Gatherer, asks the player to Find the brightest of jewels in the mines where the Seven Dwarfs work. You reach the mines by interacting with the left-center mirror in The World Within. Once in there, follow the video guide below to see where and how each of the seven jewels can be found. If you prefer, a written guide can be found past the video clip.
Jewel 1: As you approach the first mirror in the mines, it will be directly to the left of it. Take a good look, because this is what all the rest look like, and what you should keep your eyes open for.
Jewel 2: Another easy one, this can be found to the left of the second mirror, among some barrels.
Jewel 3: After collecting jewel 2, to proceed you must use the mirror next to it to bring the floating platform to a level that you can jump on it to then jump further to the next section of the mines. Before you do that, however, use the mirror to place the platform as low down as it will go. Lock it in place, then go jump on it. The jewel is on a small floating rock that can now be reached, thanks to the low-set platform.
Jewel 4: On your way to the next floating platform mirror puzzle (see objective 31), there will be several boxes and barrels you can bust up. Break the ones on your left to uncover the fourth jewel beneath.
Jewel 5: Once you’ve passed the objective 31 puzzle and reached the platform above, move immediately to your left and bust up another cluster of barrels and crates. There’s your next jewel.
Jewel 6: This is actually on the same large section as jewel 5, but off to the right. You can either fight the Heartless that appear or ignore them before you collect it; that makes no difference. Either way, when you’re ready just hug the right side from where you jumped up into this area. Around a small corner you’ll see this jewel on a rock, waiting to be collected.
Jewel 7: After grabbing jewels 5 and 6 slide on down the slope at the far end to the final mirror and the final puzzle. Instead of using the mirror to move the sloping mass to the exit, first look around in the open nothingness until you spot the last jewel, wedged on yet another small, floating rock. Position Aqua so that you can see the jewel in the mirror, then move the sloping platform directly on top of it. The jewel will stick out through the slope, allowing you to pick it up and claim your well-deserved Marie cat ears.
