In his first official appearance outside of a Kingdom Hearts game, the dorky and lovable main character Sora comes to World of Final Fantasy through a free update today in the form of a new Champion Medal.
Many renowned Final Fantasy protagonists–including V’s Bartz and Faris, VI’s Edgar and Celes, and IX’s Vivi and Eiko–have already appeared in the game in adorable chibi form, and now Sora gets to join them. He is seen sporting his Dream Drop Distance outfit to celebrate the launch of Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue, which includes Kingdom Hearts 3D HD.
If you want to receive the free Sora Champion Medal, you must have the latest World of Final Fantasy patch installed, and have the ability to invoke Champions in-game. Sora’s medal is only available until March 31, and will be removed from the PlayStation store after, so get it while the gettin’s good!
