Kojima Productions has slapped a fresh visual update on its ominous looking teaser site, depicting the number ‘5’ flashing on screen every few seconds amidst an armada of stormy rain clouds.
Inevitably, speculation around the web has kicked into over drive, the most obvious of which is pointing to the unveiling of Metal Gear Solid 5, supposedly staring the floppy haired Raiden. Then again, the ‘5’ could very well be a capital ‘s’, though to our eyes it looks like the former.
There’s also a countdown on the site which will conclude early Friday morning, at around 2.00 BST – for now, we’ll just have to keep guessing, so how about drumming up some juicy speculation in our comments section below?
A formal announcement on Kojima’s next project is expected to show up at E3 next month.
