Speaking in response to ongoing reports on the cancelation of Silent Hills, Konami Digital Entertainment today confirmed that it intends to continue developing titles in the venerable horror franchise—but wouldn’t outright confirm if the Hideo Kojima project had been scrapped.
The Japanese software publisher sent out a Q&A on the series to Eurogamer referencing several key topics related to Silent Hills, including the demo, ‘P.T.,’ and actor Norman Reedus, who was to feature in the hotly anticipated adventure.

Silent Hills was a collaborative effort between Kojima-san and Hollywood director Guillermo del Toro, with the latter recently confirming to a journalist during a press event that the game is ‘not gonna happen.’ Furthermore, Reedus indicated on his personal Twitter account that the game has indeed been canceled.
The reports come just days after Konami confirmed that P.T. will be removed from the PS Store later this week.
