Konami revealed during its Consolidated Financial Results for the nine-month period ended December 31, 2025 that a new Silent Hill game is in development. Note that this is not related to Bloober Team’s upcoming Silent Hill Remake, and seemingly not referring to Silent Hill Townfall.
“As a continuation of our ongoing efforts, we are currently developing a brand-new title in the Silent Hill series, as well as a remake of the first installment, Silent Hill.”
As mentioned above, this is presumably not referring to Silent Hill Townfall, as that game is also mentioned in the financial results. If it is though, well, we at least have confirmation the game is still in the pipeline.
Silent Hill Townfall is a new entry in the series that Konami is working on with Screen Burn Interactive, and was announced during the October 2022 Silent Hill Transmission. However, we’ve seen virtually nothing on the game since then, although a rumour last year stated that the title is coming out in March 2026.
Silent Hill has made a major comeback over the past few years, with Silent Hill 2 Remake launching in October 2024 and Silent Hill f following in September last year. The franchise had been on hiatus since 2012 following the release of Silent Hill Downpour.
