Konami looking at possible PSN release of MGS: Peace Walker

Konami is apparently flirting with the idea of releasing stealth ‘em up Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker on PlayStation Network, according to Internet reports.

The Japanese publisher raised the subject during a recent Q&A session with journalists following a hands-on period with the game. Apparently, the game would feature an online component similar to that of Metal Gear Online should it make the transition to PSN.

Peace Walker drops players in Costa Rica a decade after the events of MGS3: Snake Eater, as Big Boss and his band of mercenaries – Militaires Sans Frontières – attempt to counter a threat posed by an unknown military group.

Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker is due out in North America and Europe in June 2010.
