Konami patches Silent Hill HD Collection

Konami has finally patched the PlayStation 3 version of its Silent Hill HD Collection.

The survival horror bundle was released in March 2012 but was plagued by several nasty bugs, including dodgy voice-synching and poor frame rate.

However, Konami’s Tomm Hulett confirmed on the Silent Hill community forums that a patch is now available for download.

But what does it fix? By the sound of it, everything. Specifically, Hulett confirmed that the update remedies not only the voice-synching, but also addresses frame rate, fog density and various other audio/visual problems.

A patch for the Xbox 360 version has yet to be announced.

Silent Hill HD Collection offers spruced up versions of Silent Hill 2 and 3, and includes all-new voice overs plus Trophy and Achievement support.
