Konami has taken to Twitter to share some new details on Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain‘s online component.
The studio confirmed that Metal Gear Online, which is the third iteration of the multiplayer spin-off, will feature the ability to customise the various outfits available to players.
"As mentioned, we have a little bit of info to share on MGO tonight, many of you have had questions about the gear customization,” said Konami. “The game allows players to access different gear types, and one nice feature is the ability to change colour or even [the] patterns on most gear.
“[At] launch, there should be plenty of ways for players to modify their gear and take on a unique persona on the battlefield.”

Metal Gear Online will be available for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, PC, Xbox One and Xbox 360, although it will only support 16 players for current-generation consoles. The Phantom Pain ships on September 1 worldwide.
