New Mass Effect 5 artwork has been uncovered by fans following last week’s N7 Day celebrations, which depicts a Krogan Civil War.
Fans managed to decode some hidden clues in the blog post from Mike Gamble on Friday, which revealed that Mass Effect 5 is still very much in production. This resulted in a hidden link on BioWare’s website, which revealed a new piece of artwork — the first for the new Mass Effect game in two years — depicting an army of Krogan warriors and a Krogan hero without a helmet wielding a firearm.

Fans have already started pouring over the image speculating who the main Krogan in the image could be, who appears to be of an advanced age. Everyone from Grunt to Wrex have been name-dropped as possible candidates, although we’ll just have to see what happens when BioWare is already to spill the beans.
Gamble revealed in his post that BioWare is “heads-down and focused exclusively on Mass Effect,” revealing they’re “excited by what we’re building, and we promise you: when we’re ready, it’ll be a lot of fun to show.”
