Former developers who worked on the Metro franchise at 4A Games have reportedly established a new studio, Reburn, and are working on a new science-fiction title that is said to resemble Killzone.
According to reports, the game is titled La Quimera and screencaps that were obtained from an announcement trailer depicting the player character battling against soldiers with bright orange eyes on their helmets, which is where the comparison to Killzone have been made. Interestingly, the translation of Spanish to English for the game’s title is The Chimera, a creature from Greek mythology featuring the head of a lion, body of a goat, and the tail of a snake.

Nicholas Winding Refn is reportedly penning the story, and a Spanish publication has stated that it takes place βin a Latin American megalopolis.β Furthermore, a post on ResteEra has revealed a bunch of images that showcase large, animalistic robot foes and clashes between resistance groups and heavily armoured soldiers. La Quimera will apparently be playable solo or in a group of upon to four other players.
No details have been confirmed as to when we can expect an official reveal yet, but given the amount of content that has leaked, it sounds like an announcement can’t be too far off.
