Sony released PS5 system update 24.02-09 earlier this week, and one of the new features that remained somewhat under the radar is the addition of a new shutdown screen for the console.

In case you missed it, the latest PS5 firmware introduces a number of improvements for the system, including enhanced sound features for the DualSense and DualSense Edge controllers, with the speakers now able to producer a higher volume.
In addition, the PS5 power indicator can now be made bright by simply going to Settings > System > Beep and Light, and selecting your desired Brightness level.
