Legacy of Kain: Defiance Remastered is getting a physical release for PS5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One on November 13, 2026, Crystal Dynamics, PlayEveryWhere, and PLAION have announced.
In addition to the Standard Edition of the game priced at $29.99, players can also pick up a Deluxe Edition that includes a copy of the game, SteelBook case, soundtrack CD, 80-page art book, digital comic book reader with three classic comics, and a demo of the unreleased Legacy of Kain: The Dark Prophecy.
Legacy of Kain Defiance was originally released for the PS2 in 2003 and was directed by Amy Hennig, who would later go on to work on the Uncharted franchise at Naughty Dog. Defiance is noted for being the only entry in the franchise where both Raziel and Kain are playable characters, with Kain wielding the material Soul Reaver and Raziel possessing the spectral form of the Reaver and various element powers.
