Lego Star Wars 3: The Clone Wars will be coming to essentially every current gaming machine, including the PlayStation 3 and PSP, on February 15, 2011 in North America and February 18, 2011 in the U.K., LucasArts and TT Games announced today.
The game combines the cooperative platform and action elements of past Lego Star Wars games with added improvements like new combat and force moves, massive ground and space battles, larger bosses and so on. It also features a SceneSwap ability that allows players to take control of several teams simultaneously, injecting a seemingly real-time strategy flavor into the classic Lego gameplay.
"You reckon’ we’ve gotta war with some clones, Yoda?"
Lego Star Wars 3 is inspired by the animated Star Wars: The Clone Wars television series. The game features stories from the first two seasons of the show, which translate into over 20 campaign levels.
Look for the game on store shelves in mid-February.
