Life is Strange: Before the Storm PS4 Pro support detailed

Deck Nine has announced that Life is Strange: Before the Storm will feature PlayStation 4 Pro and Xbox One enhancements.

Speaking with GameSpot, the game’s producer, David Hein, confirmed the upcoming teen drama will come packed with “the features set of Xbox One X and PS4 Pro–4K upscaling, those sorts of things.”

Elsewhere, he also revealed that newcomers to the series can hop into Before the Storm without having to worry about experiencing the original Life is Strange.

It’s really intentional for us that no matter which title you come to first, you can play through it, enjoy it, and then go play the other title.

Nothing in our game will spoil anything from the original game. And likewise if you’ve played the original game, you’ll find all sorts of familiar faces and characters and locations. It will be a lot of fun and are kind of Easter Eggs, in a way.”

Life is Strange: Before the Storm takes place three years before the events of its predecessor, and focuses on the exploits of a 16-year-old Chloe as she meets up with Rachel Amber for the first time. Unlike the original game, Before the Storm does not include the time-rewinding mechanic, though other staples such as dialogue choices and branching story paths remain in place.
