Life is Strange, the new five-part episodic adventure from the folks over at Dontnod Entertainment, will have its first episode release on January 30, 2015, publisher Square Enix has announced.
The singular episode of the futuristic choice-based romp will be priced at $4.99, with the option to then fork out for the entire season pass for an additional $16.99. Alternatively, gamers can get their grubby mitts on the entire package from the get-go for $19.99 – saving a total of $1.99 in the process.
For the as-of-yet uninitiated, Life is Strange centres around a search for a missing girl and the reconnection of past friends Max Caulfield and Chloe. Things take an interesting twist when the former realizing that she can rewind time, which sets in motion a plethora of decision-based events that’ll affect both girls forever.
Life is Strange is scheduled to hit PS4, PS3, PC, Xbox One and Xbox 360, with developer Dontnod Entertainment expecting there to be a six-week gap in between episode releases.
