Limbo bringing artsy adventuring to PS Vita next week

Playdead, the developer behind the classic PlayStation Network title Limbo, has announced that its critically-acclaimed adventure romp will be hitting PlayStation Vita next week.

Gamers will be able to snap up the portable edition of Limbo for £9.99/€12.99 on June 6 – that’s next Wednesday’s weekly PlayStation Store update, in case you didn’t know.

Developer Double Eleven has been handling the PS Vita port, though Playdead has been keeping an eye on the conversion too.

Originally released on Xbox LIVE Arcade in 2010, Limbo was later ported to PSN, PC and Mac, where it went on to shift over 2.5 million copies globally. The game uses a gloomy, monochromatic aesthetic and combines puzzle solving and platforming, all combining to create one artsy, atmospheric package.

If you haven’t already played the game on PSN, then be sure grab it on PS Vita – you won’t regret it.
