Sony has confirmed on the official PlayStation Blog that gamers will be able to transfer all their existing content from the first two LittleBigPlanet games over to the hotly anticipated third instalment.
As such, gamers will be able to bring over their level packs and SackBoy/SackGirl wardrobes via a handy re-download link on LBP3’s in-game store. And the best part? You can bag it all free of charge.
Your profile also transfers over to SackBoy’s latest DIY platformer, bringing with any bits and bobs you have accumulated since 2008 over the course of LBP and LBP2. So, that’s content including costumes, music tracks, object, and material-based goodies.
The creative minds among you will also be pleased to know that you can expect to see any level creations you have cobbled together in past games on the LittleBigPlanet Earth screen. Here, you can pick up from where you have left off previously.
More details can be found on the blog post, so be sure to hit it up for more info. LittleBigPlanet 3 is due out on PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 in November.
