Live A Live was a groundbreaking RPG when it first released all the way back in 1994, and its recent remaster brought the beloved game back to fans old and new who were more than happy to play it again on modern consoles.
Many fans however would be more keen to hear about Live A Live 2, and whether or not that’s something which is now on the table.
Well, in a recent promotional interview Square Enix did with the original game’s director and producer on the remaster, Takashi Tokita, when asked if he’d ever think to make a sequel, he simply said “I hope so…”

This in no way confirms a sequel or really even hints that fans should begin to look forward to one, but it is definitely an interesting inclusion in an interview which at the top says Tokita would be answering questions with only a “Yes or No.”
At the very least this seems to mean that if Tokita were given the chance to make a sequel, he’d jump at it.
