Remember Lollipop Chainsaw, the cheerleader-starring, zombie-mashing action title from Grasshopper Manufacturer? Well, it’s making a comeback, according to the game’s executive producer and former Kadokawa Games CEO, Yoshimi Yasuda.
Yasuda-san didn’t elaborate on whether this means we’re getting a Lollipop Chainsaw remaster or a full-blown sequel, but the game celebrates its 10th anniversary this week, so there’s that to consider at least.

It’s worth taking into consideration that Yasuda has recently formed a new company, Dragami Games, and the tweet above clearly mentions that Lollipop Chainsaw is making a comeback via this new outfit.
Lollipop Chainsaw is the brainchild of Goichi ‘Suda51’ Suda, who also worked on idiosyncratic outings such as Killer7, Shadows of the Damned, and No More Heroes. The game is also notable for featuring a script penned by James Gunn, director of Guardians of the Galaxy and Suicide Squad.
