Grasshopper Manufacture’s Lollipop Chainsaw will be released in North America on June 12, publisher Warner Bros. has announced.
The zombie-slaying gore fest will arrive in Europe on June 13 on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
The brainchild of Goichi Suda – aka Suda 51 – Lollipop Chainsaw sees players controlling chainsaw-wielding cheerleader Juliet Starling, who is tasked with quelling an undead outbreak at her local highschool.
Lollipop Chainsaw features music from Jimmy Urine of Mindless Self Indulgence fame, with input on characterisation and story handled by filmmaker James Gunn. Tara Strong provides the voice talent for heroine Starling.
