Hexworks has unleashed a new Lords of the Fallen trailer offering a general overview of the upcoming fantasy-RPG, so if you’re not clued up on the game, this is the time to remedy that.

Lords of the Fallen is powered by Unreal Engine 5 and is due for release on PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S on October 13, 2023. The game has been a long coming, as it was originally announced in the same year the 2014 Lords of the Fallen came out, and was pencilled in for a 2017 release. At this point, Defiant Studios was leading development, but their contract was terminated by CI Games after a year, and Hexworks took over.
Lords of the Fallen takes place in an interconnected world that is significantly larger than its predecessor’s setting, with two worlds layered on top of each other. There’s the realm of the living, Axiom, and the realm of the dead, which is known as Umbral. Nine character classes are available to choose from, and you’ll be given the chance of customising your warrior from the get-go.
