A reliable source close to Capcom has strongly hinted to PSU that Lost Planet 2 will be announced for the PlayStation 3 at next week’s E3 convention.
The source stated that Capcom "has some [Lost Planet 2] announcements to make" that will be relevant to PSU’s coverage of E3. Considering that we’re a PlayStation-only website, we inferred that Capcom will finally confirm Lost Planet 2 for the PS3.
Numerous news pieces throughout the last two months suggested that the game would ultimately arrive on Sony’s console. Additionally, the first Lost Planet was announced as a 360 exclusive game, but was released on the PlayStation 3 a year after its Xbox 360 debut. We don’t expect such a large disparity between the release of the PS3 and 360 versions of the game this time around.
