Lost Planet 3 delayed

Capcom has announced that Lost Planet 3 has been delayed into August.

The sci-fi actioner was previously scheduled to launch in western regions in June.

However, the game will now be released in the U.S. on August 27 and in Europe on August 30. The delay is apparently down to “business reasons,” reports Eurogamer.

Developed by Spark Unlimited, Lost Planet 3 is a prequel and places greater emphasis on a narrative-driven experience, featuring interactive NPCs and plenty of exploration. The game is due out on PlayStation 3, PC and Xbox 360.

Capcom has quite a few major releases planned for 2013, including Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen (April), Resident Evil: Revelations (May) and Remember Me (June).
