Developer Ultizero Games has announced that Lost Soul Aside has gone gold, which means the game is now wrapped up production and is on track to meet its August 29 release date.
As spotted by X user @Okami13_, the studio wrote the following message (translated by WeChat) on its social channels:
Lost Soul has completed all development content and will be released on August 29, 2025. Kazir and Arena’s adventure is about to begin – mysterious powers and unknown truths await your exploration and revelation. The team is currently working diligently on final optimisations and testing to ensure eery physic has the most seamless gaming experience possible. Thank you all for your continue anticipation and trust. We will meet on August 29th to embark on a journey of destiny intertwined with souls!

Lost Soul Aside is best described as the love child between Devil May Cry and Final Fantasy, with main character Kazir giving off strong Noctis vibes in particular. The sword-based combat is fast and frantic – and obvious nod to Capcom’s hack-‘n-slash franchise – and sees you going up against legions of files while pulling of stylish combos along the way.
