Remember LulzSec? It seemed like we couldn’t go a day without mentioning the anonymous hacker group just last summer; the group were often prime suspects of various attacks on a plethora of online networks and websites.
Their leader, Hector “Sabu” Monsegur, an unemployed 28-year old living in New York, was arrested in the summertime and has reportedly been working with the FBI ever since which has led to the arrests of multiple LulzSec members earlier today.
That’s right – the former leader of LulzSec worked with the police to shut down his own operation. “Working” for about 8-16 hours a day, “Sabu” has been helping the FBI track down other members all the while being monitored 24 hours a day.
Sounds pretty extreme, but as we all know, karma can be a real “B.”
