The cover athlete for this year’s release of Madden NFL has been revealed. Appropriately, he’s pictured flying through the air, making the catch of a century.
Odell Beckham Jr., wide receiver for the New York Giants, takes the honor this year and joins a prestigious pack of NFL athletes that have run the gamut from Ray Lewis in Madden NFL 2005 to Brett Favre in Madden NFL 09 and last year’s star, Richard Sherman.
Beckham Jr. made headlines this past season (his rookie year) with a one-handed catch against the Dallas Cowboys. Many have (rightfully) called it one of the greatest catches in NFL history. (Thanks, Guardian.)

Meanwhile, EA’s First Look trailer highlights what’s new in Madden NFL 2016. Look forward to more Madden news from PSU this summer, especially after we go hands-on at E3 2015.
