A brief teaser trailer for Mafia: The Old Country has leaked ahead of the game’s showing at The Game Awards later today, and appears to confirm a Summer 2025 release window for the title.
Given the short length of the trailer, it is speculated that a full version may be presented at The Game Awards to give us the bigger picture on Mafia: The Old Country.
It is believed that the trailer was meant to be included in the advertising pool for YouTube following its appearance at the event, but was published earlier than intended.

Mafia: The Old Country was announced in August and is confirmed to take place in Sicily during the 1900s, and takes the form of a prequel to previous entries. Speaking at the time of the announcement, Hangar 13 President Nick Baynes commented:
Across the first three entries in the Mafia franchise, we introduced players to the world of the Mafia through brutal stories set in different eras. In Mafia: The Old Country, we’re going back to the roots of what fans love about the franchise, crafting a deep, linear narrative with that classic mob movie feeling, visiting a stunning new setting, and delivering it all in a tight, focused package perfect for fans of immersive experiences.
Mafia: The Old Country is due out on PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S.
