Dotemu has announced a new side-scrolling brawler titled Marvel Cosmic Invasion, which is coming to PS5, PS4, PC, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox Series X/S.
Paying visual homage to the Marvel comic books from the 90s, Marvel Cosmic Invasion features iconic characters including Captain America, Nova, Phyla-Vell, Spider-Man, Storm, Venom, and Wolverine, as they team up to battle Annihilus, an immortal super villain who has launched a massive galas-wide attack that threatens all life.
Players will be able select two characters to battle across New York while using the Cosmic Swap system to tag between them mid-fight, using their unique powers and abilities to turn the tide of battle.
