Insomniac Games has released a new update for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, which brings two new suits for the wall-crawler inspired by the upcoming Spider-Man: Brand New Day film starring Tom Holland, and Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls. In addition, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 update 1.005.000 brings supported for PSSR 2.0 (aka Enhanced PSSR) and Power Save Mode, the latter of course applicable only to PS5 Pro owners.

Update 1.005.000 adds two new suits for Peter Parker, including the Fresh Start suit (inspired by Spider-Man: Brand New Day) and the MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls suit. We also add support for enhanced PSSR for PS5 Pro and Power Saver mode for PS5 consoles.

Set following the events of Spider-Man: Miles Morales, this latest instalment in the web-slinging superhero franchise sees Peter Parker and Morales teaming up to take on a new threat of supervillains including Venom and Kraven the Hunter, with players given a much larger New York City to explore packed with collectibles and side activities.
